Fun day on Sunday! :)

Yesterday, dad decided to take us all on a drive. We stopped to get ice(for the cooler), pop, chips, chocolate chip cookies, and Little Caesar's pizza!!!!!!! But, before we could even eat the pizza, we drove around for a little while. We finally ended up at the Stow Ferry in Bemus Point, which takes you across Chautauqua lake! We don't usually cross this way! We drove onto the ferry and were able to get out of the van and look over the railing of the ferry! It was fun! When we got to the other side of the lake, we had to find a place to park so that we could picnic at the Bemus Point park. However, there were festivities going on, so finding a place to park was not too easy. We did find a parking spot and some picnic tables(we had to have two tables). We ate our yummy meal and then went to the mall, Dollar Tree, and Walmart. When we got home, Matt, Arielle, and Liam were at our house! We had dinner with them and laughed, talked, played/acted goofy with Liam, and did various things for hours! My little nephew is soooo cute and this post is not going to get away without a picture of him!! Anyway, we all had fun! Hope you all are doing good! :) <3 Rachel

My Graduation Party!!

Yesterday was my graduation party!! The weather turned out to be pretty nice- it was warm with a breeze at times! The food was yummy and the guests enjoyed it as well! A lot of people came to show their support! Thank you everyone for coming and making it a fun time!! : ) <3 Here are some pictures of the day! :)

Happy Birthday Girls!!!

Today is Lacy and Daphney's first birthday!! So, today I cut up some carrots for the goats and put them, along with some grapes, in a bowl. Lace and Daph also got some extra goat food! They really like that stuff! I wasn't spoiling them or anything! :) hehe It is an occasion to celebrate!  Happy Birthday baby girls!! Love ya! :)

Newest member of the farm!

Hello everybody!!! We now have a new member of the Young farm!! Let me explain... A little over a year ago, this guy gave us a white female goat, Millie, and a buck to borrow. I believe Millie was pregnant when we got her but then she miscarried a couple of months later. Well, Rosie got pregnant with the buck that we borrowed but Millie never got pregnant again after her miscarriage. Rosie had Lacy and Daphney in May 2012 (I did a post about those babies). We eventually got rid of the buck.  Fast forward to now, and we have Rosie, Lacy and Daphney, who are now 10 months old, and Millie. Well, today the guy who loaned us Millie came to get her. He also brought along two little bucks(I think they may have been brothers) but only left one with us to borrow. So we now have a new little guy in our barn! I named him Benny! He is such a little cry baby; I think that he misses his brother! He's a little buck, but maybe he'll "get the job done" with my girls. So, on our farm is: 1 chicken, 3 cats (Rafa, Grace, and Mack), and 4 goats (Rosie, Lacy, Daphney, and Benny!) Here are some pictures!

Our Updated Room!

Hello everyone!! So, as some of you already know, my dad has been working on  me and Kim's room lately!! First, Dad, Kim, and I went to the Home Depot to get the paint! We decided on a hot pink, so I took my pillow sham that had that kind of pink on it to the Home Depot, and we got the paint. Next, dad had to put mud over the holes that were in our walls and then he sanded the places where he had put the mud. Dad painted our walls pink and the ceiling an off-white color. After dad painted, he put white trim-work around our closet door. He is still going to put white trim around our floor too. We rearranged our furniture and Mom, Kim, and I also bought some new decorations for our room!! So, here are the pictures!! Enjoy! :)
