Our new cat!!

 Well, we have a stray or drop-off cat/kitten now!! It is a blackish-brown, long-haired cat that, at first, had clumps of hair and burrs in its fur and had gunky eyes!! But now, after shaving, cutting, combing, and putting oil in its hair, it doesn't have that many clumps in its fur! We also did some salt-water cotton ball rinses on her eyes. "It" is probably a girl and mom named her Lucy!!! :) So, here are some pictures of Lucy!!!! :)

This Is Christmas - Kutless

We have so much to be thankful for!!!!

It is now November, the month we gather together with family and friends to enjoy the holiday of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is only weeks away, but shouldn't every day be a day of thanksgiving? We have so much to be thankful for... we can read our Bibles without being arrested, we have so much food that we can stuff ourselves until we're too full, we have nice houses compared to some of the world, we aren't battling cancer and wondering if we'll be able to live to see the next day, we have the opportunity to have an education, and we also have family and friends. In light of all of that, having a headache, or not getting a good night sleep, or not being able to go somewhere because of the weather seems to be just a "little" bit trivial. We take so many things for granted. We have so much compared to people that have so little. So, as Thanksgiving gets closer, let's try to keep in mind all of our blessings that we are so privileged to have. :)
